Tanker Shuttle Exercise - 6/23/09
Numerous personnel took part in the tanker shuttle exercise. Engine 5 provided support at the fill site and five tankers shuttled water to three drop tanks set up at Engine 6. We managed to maintain 1000 gmp with this arrangement, which is very promising. Another similar exercise will be scheduled in the near future.

It was a great class. The night search was college education by itself. We did the search at the Eagle's Nest, an 800-acre farm on Calvary Lane. It took a wee bit, but we found the victim alive and no searchers were harmed in the process. Navigating by compass and maps in dense woods is difficult, but it was an incredibly perfect night with great weather.
